We are a competitive football program with talented athletes and dedicated football coaches who volunteer their time to help mentor and teach the sport of football. We hope you will join us this year!! Go Dogs!

AGES / TEAMS
RYF fields 3 OCYFL teams
- MIDGET (Grades 7 & 8)
- PEEWEE (Grades 5 & 6)
- MITE (Grades 3 & 4)
MIGHTY MIGHT PROGRAM
RYF will also offer participation in a MIGHTY MITE program if there are enough players. The MIGHTY MITE team is for Grades 1 & 2
JUNIOR VARISTY TEAMS
Junior Varsity (JV) teams will be added based on roster sizes at each level. A minimum of 25 players must be enrolled to participate in the OCYFL JV program.
Team enrollment numbers are required to be reported to the league on 6/1/26. The enrollment will determine each teams eligibility to participate in the OCYFL JV program. The goal is to have enough athleetes so that RYF is able to participate in the JV program at every level. It's our belief it proiveds the best opportunity for all players to progress as well as maximizes in-game playing time in an environment that matches their size and skill level.

GAMES
We have eight (8) regular season games scheduled for the 2026 season.
OCYFL Division 4 Opponenets: Abington, Apponequet, Carver, Hanson
Home games are played at Rockland Veterans Memorial Stadium.
Dates, Locations and times will be announced closed to the season. JV Team schedules will also be provided at the start of the season.
An additional Playoff and Suberbowl game will follow the season for those teams that quailify.
EQUIPMENT
We provide most required equipment including: helmets, shoulder pads, knee pads, rib pads, practice pants and game-day uniforms.
All of our equipment meets National Safety Certifications.
Participants will need to provide their own mouth guard, padded girdle (must have pads for thighs, hips, and tailbone), practice jersey & cleats.
Practice Jersey's are available for purchase at Rockland Athletics prior to the start of the season. Also, a blue jersey purchased from a sporting goods strore can be worn.
GUARDIAN CAPS: Any Guardian Caps (or similar product) that is used during game play must be WHITE in order to match the color of team's helmet. Also, the OCYFL will require a waiver to be signed for anyone who chooses to wear Guardian Caps during games.
PRACTICES
Practice will be held at Phelps Elementary Turf field. Day and Hours will be communicated by Head Coaches leading up to and during the season.
Fall 2026
Welcome to the Rockland Youth Football online registration system. Please click the Registration button below to begin the new registration process.
The registration system will allow you to provide contact information, sign consent forms and submit payment. Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately.
Individual player registration cost for the season is $300.
Discounts Available:
Early Registration Payment Plan: Early registrars (both Individual and Family) will have the option of paying via a payment plan. Register your player for only $100 is due at time of registration then equal $100 payments will be due on 5/1/26 & 6/1/26.
Family Registration: A family cap of $500 will be applied for families with 2 or greater registered athletes in our Football program. Please contact ryfpresident@gmail.com or blmurphy414@gmail.com for more information on how to register all athletes if this applies to you.
Late Registration: Registrations that are not completed or paid in full (including payment plans) will be charged a late fee of $50 after 6/1/26.
